Problem: Didn’t want to return to classroom teaching after taking some time out to travel

Success: He now has more time to spend with his family and has discovered his true potential

Before working with Ellie…

After 4 years in the secondary maths classroom, Tom was taking some time out of his career to travel and spend more time with his family when he started looking for support with setting up his own maths tuition business..

When he first hopped on board the 2 Hour Tutor programme, he was faced with either returning to the classroom or carving out a new path that would allow him more quality time with his family.

One thing was missing, however – he lacked a clear roadmap to make a success of his online tutoring business. He was keen to adopt a time-leveraged group model, knowing that it would give him the time flexibility he craved without losing out on income.

The information overload out there had his head spinning, and he just wanted someone he could trust to point him in the right direction.

He started researching different programmes and spoke to a few other coaches, but decided that the 2 hour tutor programme was ideal both from a personality fit and learning perspective.

Fast forward 6 months…

Fast forward 6 months, and his experience with the 2 Hour Tutor programme has been a real game-changer. He’s now reaping the rewards of his efforts is and loving every bit of the new lifestyle he has created for himself.

As Tom puts it, “It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster for me.” Initially, he wasn’t sure about the investment for the programme, but with a little nudge of encouragement from his brother, he took the plunge. Now, he sees it as a small investment for the kind of lifestyle he’s building.

In this interview Tom talks about the programme’s five pillars, which cover everything from running an online business and marketing to personal growth. According to Tom, these pillars are essential to succeed in the online education world. “You’ve got to have all of those things to be successful,” he says.

Tom doesn’t sugarcoat it, though. He admits that the programme requires hard work. But he believes the payoff is more than worth it: “You’ll get that back tenfold, hundredfold.” He encourages anyone on the fence to take the leap, saying, “I don’t think you can not join.”

Looking ahead, Tom’s keeping his options open. He’s realised that the programme isn’t just about business but also personal development. As he puts it, “It’s been more about learning what my limitations were, my own strengths and weaknesses.” He’s excited about what the future holds, even if it’s not all neatly planned out.

So, in Tom’s words, “I wouldn’t think twice about joining . . .you’re worth it.”

If you’re thinking about joining the 2 Hour Tutor Programme, he believes you’ve already made the first step, and he encourages you to go for it. Tom’s story is a testament to how the 2 Hour Tutor programme can help you not only build a thriving online education business but also discover your whole life’s potential along the way.
